The Case for an MBA

It's Complicated

  • Most Executive MBA students have higher profile roles
  • Nearly 75% of Foster EMBA students have families with nearly 50% also raising children
  • Martin Fichter (EMBA 2014) discusses the advantages of the EMBA format over a traditional MBA

Well, the E in EMBA program really means executive. And the format of the program lends itself well to the life of an executive who has a very, very busy job and a lot of time commitment in the job and then takes off for a few days or one day every week to run the program. You wouldn't be able to do a full-time and still be an executive. The most important thing for me-- and it's very much highlighted in the program itself-- is the applicability of what you learn every day back into your job.
