The Case for an MBA

The "E" in Executive MBA

  • The cohort experience level is a significant differentiator for EMBA programs
  • Students find that a higher experience level elevates the classroom conversations
  • Darko Spoljaric (EMBA 2010) shares the value of program aspect

I am so grateful that I have my EMBA. And I want to emphasize the E in the MBA, because for me, from a career change standpoint, the conversations I had with potential employers-- and even with my current employer-- when these folks know, or knew, that I had an EMBA, it elevated the conversation to another level of more of a senior manager type of conversation. They automatically knew that not only did I have the credentials from a top notch school of business-- like Foster School of Business, with the EMBA program-- but they also recognized that, unlike an MBA, I brought a level of seniority, of experience, with my EMBA to the table.
